The Socin House is being built at Socinstrasse 55 in Basel, an innovative multi-generational project by Bürgerspital Basel. The centerpiece is a public café-bistro on the ground floor where older people actively participate and experience social inclusion. The upper floors will feature 24 two-room apartments for seniors and people with disabilities, as well as three one-room studios for students. The latter will take on care responsibilities for the other residents.
