The Political Municipality of Oberriet acquired the property "zur Burg" on Adlerstrasse in Oberriet in 2015. In autumn 2021, the citizens of the Municipality of Oberriet approved the project for renovation and enhancement of this architectural monument of cantonal significance at an extraordinary citizens' assembly. The goal is to preserve this venerable building for future generations.
