The urban planning concept provides for an ensemble of four building sections that are interlocked like mill wings and form a common organizational system. The buildings are each separated from one another by a gate to the courtyard, but at the same time connected by continuous structural elements above. The entrance lobbies fit into a coherent system of access routes and passages between street and courtyard. On the first floor, there is a gallery that connects the four buildings around the courtyard and forms a circulation ring for the entire ensemble. At the top, the buildings are articulated into differentiated building volumes through roof terraces and recesses at the courtyard gates.
