Renovation of the existing ice hall and expansion of the existing spectator stands (plus approximately 1,500 seats)
total 3,900 seats and 2,100 standing places.
The existing Lido ice hall is to be adapted in various respects to meet current and future requirements of a modern
and attractive sports facility.
The conversion and expansion of the current hall will be used to reformulate the entire appearance.
An elegant sculpture is being developed which, despite a roof elevation of 5 m, stands out through a certain
lightness.
The raising of the roof has a positive effect on the design of the interior space and creates an atmosphere comparable
to an arena. Spacious VIP lounges are located directly under the roof and this elevated position offers an
ideal view of the ice rink and the city.
The existing roof structure is essentially retained, but the main beams are extended laterally and adjusted with
an additional tension to the new length.
