The construction of the Eaux-Vives sports centre has begun, comprising a swimming pool, a multi-purpose hall and a climbing wall, as well as residential units and a childcare facility. It is the first time in thirty years that the Municipality has built such a facility in the city centre, marking the final touch of the new district around the Eaux-Vives Léman Express railway station. The sports complex will occupy three of eleven levels, and will also include social housing, a socio-cultural centre and a childcare facility, at a total cost of 110 million francs.
