The new sports center creates many synergies in terms of building technology and construction. It is ecologically sustainable and achieves the Minergie standard for ice sports halls. In the spirit of the 2000-watt society, it uses its resources efficiently. On the roof there is a large photovoltaic system that produces ecological electricity. The waste heat from the environmentally friendly CO2 refrigeration machines for ice production is used to simultaneously heat the new sports center as well as the community center and to operate the hot water preparation.
