The Schweizerische Südostbahn (SOB) was a railway company in Central Switzerland headquartered in Wädenswil. It was founded in 1890 through the merger of the Wädenswil-Einsiedeln Railway and the Zurich Lake–Gotthard Railway and operated the standard-gauge adhesion lines Rapperswil–Arth-Goldau and Wädenswil–Einsiedeln. In 2001 it merged with the Lake Constance-Toggenburg Railway to form the «new» Schweizerische Südostbahn. Its network is designated by the «new» Südostbahn as the Südnetz.
