In Opfikon, the local history museum «Dorf-Träff» is undergoing a thorough renovation and redesign. At the center of this spectacular renovation project is an old residential building from the 17th century. A similar house type, as shown in the museum, was increasingly used again in the early modern period (16th and 17th centuries).
