With its tall gables, District Building 3 dominates the Schmiedenwiedikon, the bustling center of the residential district. The building in homeland style was built in 1910 by the then city architect Friedrich Fissler and is listed in the inventory of buildings worth protecting. 40 years after the last major renovation, comprehensive maintenance and renewal were necessary.
