The Heerenschürli sports facility features an elongated, wing-like changing room building, the roof of which is used as a grandstand. The roof of the changing room building was constructed using timber frame construction, while the floor slabs, intermediate ceilings and walls were built using solid construction. Additionally, a utility building was constructed as a simple and cost-effective steel hall. All buildings were laid on shallow foundations; due to unfavorable geology, a material replacement layer was arranged under the floor slabs.
