The Haus zur Freudenfels in Schaffhausen, a historic townhouse from the 16th century, is currently undergoing comprehensive renovation and adaptive reuse. The goal is to preserve the valuable building fabric while integrating modern uses such as the civil registry office as well as studio, practice, and office spaces. The renovation is carried out with great attention to heritage conservation and combines traditional craftsmanship with contemporary functionality. The wedding rooms are preserved and made barrier-free.
