Maison de la Paix - House of Peace / Geneva

Right in the vicinity of Place des Nations, between Chemin rigot and the railway track, the "House of Peace" symbolizes the gateway to Geneva.

Previously, global activities were scattered across various locations. Now in the future home of the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (IHEID), it brings together study, research, and debates on the most current global topics in one place.

Thanks to the highest architectural quality, the House of Peace is to be used by the Graduate Institute in the long term. The core of the building consists of an auditorium with 600 seats, 15 lecture halls, 10 seminar and classroom spaces, a library with an area of 4,500 m² on two floors, as well as a cafeteria with 170 seats and a terrace with 80 seats.
