The facility will extend over a length of 740 meters and consist of four parts: injector with electron source, linear accelerator, an arrangement of undulators, and experimental equipment. The construction zone in Würenlingen Forest covers an area of about 5 hectares. For the construction of the building, approximately 25,000 cubic meters of concrete will be required. The building volume will comprise about 77,000 cubic meters, which corresponds to the volume of about 100 smaller single-family homes.
