The new building of Huber Kunststoff AG in Gossau's Sommerau area (Sommerau Nord industrial zone) is being constructed on schedule and is expected to be ready for occupancy in June 2025. The 15 m high building with a volume of 57,726 m³ uses innovative wooden pile foundations and combines production (injection molding), administration, and social spaces. Technical highlights include large-scale photovoltaic systems on the roof (195 kWp) and open land (581 kWp), state-of-the-art ventilation and crane systems, as well as an integrated underground garage for 64 vehicles.
