The renovation of the iconic Hardau II settlement preserves the brutalist character of the 1970s. Architecturally, the focus is on preserving the distinctive red exposed concrete through manual re-profiling as well as the reuse of original lighting fixtures and signage. Technically, the apartments are modernized, facades are restored, and parking decks as well as the sewage system are comprehensively renewed.
