The heritage-protected Schulhaus Schanz in Stein am Rhein is undergoing comprehensive renovation until summer 2025. Seven modern classrooms, group rooms, and a textile design studio are planned. A new stairwell extension with an elevator enables barrier-free access to all floors. The architecture of the extension deliberately sets itself apart from the historic building to preserve its character.
