The Münchhaldeneck in Zurich unites three parcels on Seefeldstrasse 188/190 and Münchhaldenstrasse 15. Thus it forms a new neighbourhood landmark: The gateway to Seefeld. In the urban planning context, it is a representative corner situation in an environment of heterogeneous architecture from different eras. The corner situation is occupied and confidently asserted. The classical tripartite division of the existing building structures is continued. As befits a corner building, the attic apartment is subtly elevated.
