The building planning impresses with its integrative functionality, clear separation between outpatient and inpatient medicine, and flexibility, with the main idea being short distances for staff and patients. The implementation of the new hospital is carried out by Implenia as a general contractor, while the architects from Burckhardt + Partner AG and wörner traxler richter are responsible for the project, based on their international experience in hospital construction. In the interior design, pleasant materials and natural color tones are used that convey warmth and emphasize functionality, while a well-conceived lighting concept and daylight provide well-being. The patient rooms are characterized by large windows, seating niches, and harmonious wood design that support the healing process in the sense of "Healing Architecture".
