The former industrial site BRUAG-Areal in Güttingen has been repurposed in recent years and is today a residential area. The Brunner-Areal was previously a location of Brunner AG, a company active in the fields of mechanical engineering and metal processing. After the industry withdrew, the site was developed for mixed use. This includes residential, commercial, and leisure uses. The site is being transformed into a modern residential and commercial quarter that offers numerous new opportunities for residents and entrepreneurs in the city. New buildings have been constructed that offer between 1.5 and 5.5 rooms. Additionally, there are spaces for shops and for the general public.
