New terrace houses are being built as part of the Atrium development on Wiesentalstrasse in Chur. The owner-occupied apartments will be ready for occupancy from winter 2015 onwards.
The new terraced Atrium single-family houses are situated in the Wiesental area in a sunny location. Nineteen spacious and family-friendly houses have been built to a high standard. The various floor plan types extend over the residential area from single-storey to two-storey houses.
The development will be constructed in solid building methods. The external appearance will be mural. The attic storeys are flush with the facades and result from the floor plan and access layout. In particular, the eastern attic arrangement with the associated glazed passages along the railway tracks guarantee a significant improvement with regard to railway emissions for the settlement as a whole and thus the quality of living. The high standard of finishes combined with spacious floor plan concepts ensures a high standard of living. Architecturally and in terms of urban planning, the buildings are intended to form a balanced unit through predominantly uniform facade and colour design. The planned greyish-beige colour tones in combination with dark metal windows create a warm and equally high-quality overall appearance.
The shared areas of the surrounding landscape design such as green spaces, footpaths and play areas are designed according to a harmonious concept regarding materialization, planting, lighting, etc.
