The former cinema in Riehen at Baselstrasse 48 is currently undergoing comprehensive renovation and conversion. In the front building, alongside a bank branch and two office units, four new apartments are being created. The former cinema along Schmiedgasse is being converted into three modern maisonette apartments. A central courtyard provides natural lighting and creates private retreats. The redesign is being carried out in close coordination with the Riehen local heritage commission to preserve the historic building fabric while creating modern living space.
