Renovation/Extension Freilager, Subarea D

The overall Freilager Zurich project with a site area of approximately 70,500 m² comprises ten new buildings and two renovations across three subareas (A, C and D) with a total of around 800 rental apartments and approximately 200 rooms for student housing as well as office, commercial and gastronomy spaces. The project will meet the requirements of the 2000-Watt Society and will be realised using resource-efficient construction methods according to SIA recommendations. All buildings comply with the Minergie-Eco or Minergie-P-Eco standard. On subarea D, Allreal renovates the two warehouse buildings and extends them by three storeys each. This creates space in both buildings for a total of 195 rental apartments and commercial spaces in the ground floor levels. Source: allreal.ch
