To meet the increasing demand for school space in Zürich-Wiedikon, the special education school building is to be renovated by summer 2024 and the temporary building at the Aegerten school complex is to be temporarily expanded. The City Council is requesting a budget of 16.9 million francs for this project. The renovation of the school building at Gotthelfstrasse 53 is planned to create space for four primary classes and two kindergarten classes. In addition, an extension of the 3rd floor of the building wing on Wuhrstrasse and selective extensions on both building wings are planned to increase capacity.
