Complete renovation of administrative building
Operational and safety requirements have changed significantly in some areas, making a complete renovation of the building necessary to counteract loss of asset value and renew the building's life cycle.
Based on the clear structures of the existing building, the architects propose an unpretentious, timeless building envelope made of metal and glass, which is complemented by simple yet precise measures in the reorganization of floor plans and building systems that meet the requirements for the Minergie standard and save approximately 50% of heating energy demand.
Construction period: January 2012 to December 2014
Construction costs BKP 1 - 9: approx. CHF 22.6 million
