On a sales area of 30,000 m² the Shopping Arena offers its visitors a selection of a total of fifty fashion, jewelry, electronics and sporting goods stores as well as dining establishments. Like an island, the entire complex, which also includes an IKEA furniture store and the FC St. Gallen football stadium, is conveniently located between two motorway axes. The synergies of the parking garage for shoppers during the day and football fans in the evening, as well as the central connection to public transport, create perfect utilization and accessibility of the three-part building complex. However, the architectural highlight is the football field laid out on the Shopping Arena. It stands out prominently above the shopping center, which is located below ground level. A unique example of multiple use of space that stands for both form and extravagance.
