Renovation of Wil Primary School Building

The Wil primary school building has six large classrooms, two per floor. On the top floor there is a smaller room for ISF instruction and a larger classroom for group lessons. Where the old attic used to be, there is now a spacious staff room with the teacher's library and all equipment for lesson preparation. The stairwell and toilet facilities were moved into a modern glass extension during the last renovation. On the ground floor, a large glass hall invites students to sing, perform, and celebrate together.

In 1861, the current school building was constructed from materials of the old church in the orchard of Widow Heller. In addition to the classrooms, a secondary school classroom, a sewing classroom, and a teacher's apartment were also built at that time. Over the years, the school building was renovated several times. The last major renovation was carried out in 1998.
