«With the new building, we are providing proof that first-class medical care and a pleasant atmosphere can be combined in one of the most modern hospitals,» explains Reto Gisler, Head of Building Services at Zug Cantonal Hospital in Baar. Since the end of August 2008, the population of Zug has not only had a modern public acute care hospital with 184 beds, but also a hospital with model character. Zug Cantonal Hospital operates three high-performance clinics: Surgery, Internal Medicine and Gynecology. More than 8,000 patients are treated as inpatients annually and approximately 30,000 persons as outpatients. Around 700 employees, including over 75 doctors, are dedicated to their well-being.
