The Alterszentrum Laubegg provides space for 74 residents and is located in the Friesenberg district. It consists of a ten-story high-rise building, a two-story annex building, and an extension with dining hall, kitchen and laundry facilities as well as a cafeteria.
The main focus of the planned renovation of Alterszentrum Laubegg is improving the comfort of resident apartments (age-appropriate bathrooms with toilet and showers), complete overhaul of building systems, and energy-efficient renovation of the envelope of the annex building. Furthermore, various rooms will be adapted to meet the current needs of residents. As a result, there is the possibility of creating a roof garden on the annex building for day care as well as a new physiotherapy department in the basement with outdoor area.
