For building plot E, the team Caruso St John Architects LLP, London together with Bosshard Vaquer Architekten, Zurich, emerged as the winner of the design competition and was recommended for further development and realization. As an independent sculptural urban figure, the large-scale building volume maintains the balance between body and surroundings. The classical building articulation in base, urban level and tower structure convinces through its fine differentiation of urban uses. Through the clear staggering of building masses and heights in the sense of a dominant feature towards Kanonengasse / Ankerstrasse, the new north-eastern plaza space receives a clearly readable centering through the triad of adjacent height dominants. The lower main building body houses offices and retail spaces, while the two tower structures contain upscale city apartments and penthouses.
