In addition to the previous departments, newly organized areas also moved into the new building. This included, among other things, a new entrance area with a central reception desk, an interdisciplinary outpatient clinic, a state-of-the-art operating room area, an interdisciplinary medical diagnostics unit, and much more. As a special feature, after completion of the new building and after the completion of the renovation activities, the old patient tower was demolished.
