Behind the Landi and Volg branches on Poststrasse, the former slaughterhouse, an old single-family house and a wooden shed will be demolished. They will make way for the «Riegel», the new, slightly angled building in which 23 apartments will be created over four floors. Landi Hallwilersee will also move its office from the neighbouring branch there, and additional office space will be available for rent. The Volg building next door will be renovated and its gabled roof flattened. Instead of one as before, there will be room for two attic apartments. The centrepiece of the project is a spacious interior park that will replace the bare concrete square between the buildings – instead of grey, the colour green will dominate in future.
