The Zedernhof forms the third stage of the Limmatfeld major project in Dietikon. It is located in the middle of the small city and consists of several buildings. The head building at the city square is by Baumschlager Eberle architects. After completion of construction work on Westhöfen and Lindenhof, it will border the city square on its east side. Behind the head building and facing away from Heimstrasse, several individual townhouses are being built. These are the result of a design competition among up-and-coming young architecture firms. The individual buildings are divided among three investors: HIG Immobilien Anlage Stiftung (4 townhouses), Basler Leben AG (3 townhouses), and UBS Immobilienfonds Direct Residential Plus (head building), and they collaborate on various uses such as the shared underground garage.
The result is individually designed townhouses with commercial and office spaces as well as 136 rental apartments with front gardens and terraces.
