The Ethnographic Museum of the University of Zurich is planning comprehensive measures for the renovation and operational optimization of its museum depot. The goal is to improve the room climate and optimize storage conditions for ethnographic objects. A new access will directly connect the depot with the adjacent exhibition rooms, offices and restoration studios, thereby facilitating the transport of cultural artifacts. A new lifting platform ensures barrier-free transfer between the buildings. In the course of these works, the building systems will also be modernized.
