The Zentralstrasse housing cooperative commissioned the Office of Building Construction to conduct a single-stage, anonymous design competition using a selective procedure. The task was to submit proposals for a development of approximately 70 apartments in Aspholz-South, Zurich-Affoltern. The perimeter forms the western boundary of the newly emerging Ruggächer residential area and is located in attractive proximity to the Katzensee landscape recreation area.
