The new building occupies both street building lines on Buckhauser- and Flurstrasse and continues the existing arrangements of the surrounding buildings in terms of urban design. The U-shape mirrors the neighboring building on Badenerstrasse, thereby creating an inner-city courtyard. The new building fits into the existing situation like a missing puzzle piece without interrupting the existing approach roads and circulation paths of the block. The U-shape defines a clearly framed and defined external space.
