The Mettlen school complex in Opfikon will undergo comprehensive renovation and partial expansion. Over two phases, six existing buildings will be modernized to enable new pedagogical concepts. A new building will replace the old double kindergarten and provide space for two kindergartens as well as 150 children in after-school care. The renovation will be energy-efficient and sustainable. The goal is to secure the school space long-term and integrate external care services.
