The general contractor Marazzi, Bern, and Union Investment Real Estate Management GmbH, Hamburg, are realizing the Fifty-One on the site: Around 16,000 square meters of office, 800 square meters of retail and 700 square meters of restaurant space are being created at Pfingstweidstrasse 51. The 51 provides space for around 1,000 employees.
The building concept features an interesting office structure with many multifunctional spaces for combination, open-plan and individual offices. A representative passage on the ground floor with complementary uses (retail and restaurant) connects Pfingstweidstrasse with the plaza in front of the 5-star Mobimo Towers hotel.
Through the innovative energy concept (groundwater heat, heat recovery) and high-quality materials (such as triple-glazed windows extending the full room height), sustainability is achieved throughout the entire lifecycle of the building, which is not only ecologically sound but also guarantees concrete financial benefits to the user through low energy and maintenance costs.
