The Riedhof school complex was built in 1963 by architect A. Roth in pavilion structure in a spacious parkland setting in Zurich Höngg.
It is to be expanded in 2016 in two phases with 2 Züri-Modular pavilions. The location is situated south of the school complex in the area of existing student and private gardens.
The outdoor space around the new pavilions is to be developed as a fruit meadow in such a way that the parkland flows through again and meets the requirements of the heritage conservation and garden heritage conservation object.
A new student garden with tool shed and a covered shelter for approximately 15 people (total approximately 600 m2) will be built in 2016 north of the school building between the play meadow and kindergarten. The garden house integrates itself as a timber construction with green flat roof optimally into the existing situation between the play meadow and kindergarten pavilion.
A ball catch, 6 meters high, provides the necessary protection for the play meadow.
