The new construction project at Binzmühle and Friesstrasse in Zurich-Oerlikon comprises 39 apartments in a striking corner building and a quiet courtyard building. The architecture features dual-orientation apartments with "cockpit kitchens" in bay windows facing the street and private loggias overlooking the courtyard. Technically, the construction follows a low-tech approach with a focus on photovoltaics and rainwater harvesting.
