COURTYARD ATMOSPHERE
- Climbing arches create shaded and sunny sections and enhance the visual openings between the houses.
- "Green curtain" in front of the windows of the ground floor rooms.
IDEA
- Consideration of future development planned on the hillside. No barrier along Rietstrasse, but visual connections, transparency in all directions.
- Order "with gaps" responds to the valley-side existing buildings.
- Communal garden interior spaces with a designed pond serving as a retention basin.
- The existing single-family house becomes part of the communal framework of the development.
- The development has a defined beginning (square at Zumikerstrasse) and a designed end (pulpit with connection to Bethesda Park).
