New construction multi-family house

The south slope of Hönggerberg in the city of Zurich is predominantly built with smaller multi-family houses and is well served by bus and tram. The fine-grained building structure, the large gardens and the view over the city contribute significantly to the high attractiveness of the district. The existing double house from the forties had only undergone one minor partial renovation and no longer met contemporary housing requirements. Renovation would have made little sense from both economic and ecological considerations. In line with the desired densification of well-served, inner-city locations, a building with three different residential units was able to be realized.
