The small animal clinic of the Vetsuisse Faculty of the University of Zurich has been modernized and expanded. The expansion is a prerequisite for ensuring teaching and research at an international level. The new small animal clinic building on the grounds of the University of Zurich's animal hospital was integrated as a T-shaped structure within the campus-like overall facility. The clinic operations are conceptually housed on two functional levels: while the patient reception, consultation rooms, and areas for special examinations are organized on the ground floor, the actual treatment rooms with operating tract and stables are located on the upper floor.
