After nearly four years of construction, Sihlcity in Zurich opened its doors on March 22, 2007. The 600-million complex at this historic location skillfully integrates existing building stock and modern architecture. The realized district in the south of Zurich sets new standards in the repurposing of industrial sites, urban development, and investments in real estate projects. SchweizerBauJournal reported extensively on the urban planning aspect in issue 6-2005.
