The Schwamendingen Covering project transforms the heavily used motorway A1 L in Zurich-Schwamendingen into a covered traffic route (approximately 940 m in length). Technically realized through prefabricated concrete and post-tensioned beams using open-cut construction, a public green space ("Überland Park") is created on the roof.
