Urban Design Structure

- The project is located in a prime position at the main entrance to the town of Mellingen.
- It is a priority to create street-facing linear development whose main orientation is north-south and thus has little-animated spaces on the street side.
- With building C, the street space is clearly defined and demarcated in relation to the other building structures. At the same time, the individual spaces are protected from street emissions.
- The smaller-scale sequence of volumes and open spaces is more in line with the rural structure of Mellingen than a perimeter block-like, urban development structure.
