The catchment area of the three Unteramt municipalities is growing continuously, and with it the population figures.
The attractiveness of the region is increasing and with it the demand for modern sports facilities. The sports clubs do a lot and are strongly committed to youth care. The secondary school has had insufficient outdoor sports facilities since the new school building was built. The primary school Bonstetten and the secondary school share one of the existing gymnasiums of the secondary school with increasing problems regarding capacity, coordination and timetable planning.
A modern triple sports hall for clubs, schools and the population is missing and has been a need for a long time.
