The Swiss Technical School Winterthur (STFW) is expanding its campus with the "Handwerkstadt" project. On approximately 22,000 square meters, a new school building with 6,100 m² of educational space, a parking garage with over 290 parking spaces, and a hotel with 42 rooms will be constructed by 2027. The groundbreaking ceremony took place on July 11, 2024. This modern training center will be used particularly for building technology and skilled trades, and will sustainably strengthen the educational landscape of the Winterthur region.
