The winning project by Zurich architects von Ballmoos Krucker and landscape architects Schweingruber Zulauf meets these requirements. They skillfully integrated the school into the hilly topography and planned it so that a direct open space connection is created between Bahnhofplatz and Tösslauf. The floor plan is characterized by the clever combination of classrooms and group rooms, which takes into account modern teaching methods such as team teaching and individualized learning. The facade of the Minergie-P-Eco new building is to be clad with fiberglass panels. These are durable and offer a wide variety of colors and formats that give the school a distinctive appearance, thus distinguishing it as a public building in the still-growing residential area.
