The FORUM UZH project at the UZH Centre location, designed by Herzog & de Meuron, combines architecture and engineering: A base structure terraced into the slope with lecture halls, seminar rooms and sports facilities; above it a set-back trapezoidal body with library and offices. Spacious halls bring daylight deep into the building. Technically, maximum space utilization is combined with efficiency and pedagogical requirements. Completion is planned for mid-2031.
